Campbell Chapter 5
I like how this chapter was saying how you can create a successful music program at any school you work at as long as you know what your doing. No matter what the status of the school district or how much money they have you can work hard to still have a succesful music program.

I find it interesting how we hear music differently at different ages. I find it most interesting how we react to music differently at different ages.
Lehman-Music in Today's School's
I like the reason given why music should be taught in schools is that it is just worthwhile to know how music works. Everyone in there everyday lives listens to music and if you don't understand it there is no reason to be listening to it.
Shuler-Making Arts Education Curricular
The thing that stood out to me in this article was that most people consider music extracurricular. In every school music is a class with a grade making it curricular. Sometime your have rehersals after school but that does not make it extracurricular if you are reciving a grade for it.
